Fishing for wild steelhead was outstanding this past week as the coastal rivers dropped into shape. We managed 8 days of fishing between the Wynoochee, Humptulips, and other nearby rivers.
Fishing cured eggs or artificial worms worked well in the semi-dirty water. Our team likes to drag those offerings behind a float but they can be side-drifted without a bobber as well.
As you can tell we’re taking another onslaught of rain now but when it all stops and the rivers drop again it will be world class fishing again!
