Good numbers of summer Chinook and summer steelhead are still being caught on the lower Columbia. Best action is near the river mouths where cooler water gives the fish a break. Look for seams close to shore in water less than 18 ft. deep. Anchor fish the outgoing tide with 3.0 and 3.5 Maglips, or a coon shrimp and spin-n-glow set-up. Some anglers are trolling spinners or even bobber fishing when the tide turns around.
Good luck and tight lines
