09/30/15 Puget Sound Fishing Report – MA 11

The salmon fishing has been fair for 3lb. to 6lb Coho mostly in 15’ or less of water that’s right real close to shore much like cutthroat trout fishing with a small plug cut or strip of herring.

The best areas have been from Dash Pt. south to the mouth of the Puyallup River and from Pt. Richmond to Pt. Fosdick along the Gig Harbor shoreline.

Fly fishing has been good for some feisty Coho as well in the shallow water.

Crabbing reopens Oct. 1st thru Dec. 31st in area 11 among other areas.
