10/07/15 Tillamook Bay KIngs Report

T-Bay anglers are enjoying one of the best seasons in almost ten years. Kings to 30+ lbs. are present in good numbers but the Coho are largely absent. When the ocean is friendly, the fishing outside the jetties is the place to be. When it’s too sporty outside, the north jetty puts out best on the soft outgoing tides. Keep your herring one/two cranks off the bottom and check often for weeds/grass. Flashers are NOT necessary, but heavy cannon ball sinkers are. Regardless of the tide, the Ghost Hole always puts out a few fish at first light. When the tide swings are big, troll the upper bay with rainbow spinners.  Fishing should hold up through the month, with a few late fish showing through November.
