Neah bay halibut, lingcod, cabezon, & rockfish!

We had a great week at neah bay.  The weather was great and the fishing was outstanding We had calm seas most of the week , small swells, light winds, no fog and very little rain or mist. The off shore days were fast action with a very nice grade of halibut, and good fishing for nice lings with some big ones mixed in. The near shore days were steady action on bass, lingcod, and cabezon ( with limits of bass and lings each day) Most of our fish this weekend were caught on jigs but we did use some bait at times also. Color was making a big difference this week. if one color was not working we would keep switching colors till we found one that was . The bottom fishing on the whole coast should continue to be good till we switch our focus to salmon on july 1.

I hope to see you on the water soon!
